Extortionate prices for shockingly poor veterinary care. A different vet every time you visit, absolutely no continuity, and what feels like a revolving door of inexperienced staff. Yet somehow, you're still expected to pay premium prices for a completely substandard service. The level of care is unacceptable, and based on my experience, I can understand why I've heard such negative things about their reputation. Pet owners deserve competent, consistent and compassionate care, not to be treated like walking cash machines. Wouldn't recommend Vets4Pets to anyone. Take your money and your pets elsewhere.

I found an injured and very scared pigeon cowering at the entrance to the Royals Shopping Centre. It wasn’t an option to walk past and ignore a creatures suffering. Pigeons are massively misunderstood and are in-fact highly intelligent and gentle birds. The rescue mission was initially met with an uncompassionate and unhelpful security guard of the Royals Shopping Centre. However, after calling the Wildlife Trust/RSPCA and following their advice. I was finally able to find a suitable box, kindly given by the staff at the Royal Hotel. And set about walking the bird to the nearest Vets. This happened to be Vets for Pets - Southend Victoria. Jodie on reception was an absolute angel, a fellow animal lover.... she understood. I felt relieved after so much apprehension. Jodie took the pigeon and assured me of the care the bird would receive. After the awful experience of seeing this creature suffering, Jodie was the caring and capable heart we truly needed. Again sending my sincere appreciation and thanks for being there 🫶

My miniature poodle Harry got a grass seed in his ear. They were so accommodating and despite being busy they took him in. All the staff were so lovely, I have never had an experience at a vets like it (after having so many bad experiences with Medivet!) The vets were so lovely, went through all the consent, explained the processes, and even held the door open for me when I collected Harry. It is clear they have a love for animals. Thank you!! I will be returning!

I needed a post surgical cone in an emergency situation and they wouldn’t let me buy one unless I registered even though I said I was moving to another country in a few weeks AND I said it was an emergency. Ridiculous and completely unethical.

I’ve recently moved here and used this vet’s for my very old deaf frail cat and I have to say the staff here are absolutely amazing, so gentle and kind and caring. They always treat Georgie cat so nicely and with care. Lovely !

Have just left this practice after being ripped off one last time. Once again, a corporate vet has proved that animal care is secondary to making money. The final straw? Upselling hard to get my dog on a steroid-based long term medication for his "allergies", when he has had an itchy ear twice in 18 months. Putting a young, healthy mongrel dog on lifelong steroids - "a last resort medication for chronic allergies" - just to make your numbers up and claim your commission? Disgraceful. Unfortunately for them, we have 30 years' dog ownership experience, we've watched the changes happen, so we know when they're talking rubbish. How bad is it that you can no longer take a vet's word for it?! It is no longer the honorable profession it once was, thanks to corporates like V4P. We have now joined an independent practice for old school care - where the animal's welfare actually comes first.

Expensive but does the job
