We've attended Cherrydown Vets on a few occasions now and they have always been welcoming, friendly and efficient. That my GSD loves going there says it all really.

The care you receive from Cherrydown is second to non but recent changes have made it difficult to get appointments when required. I usually attend the Basildon branch but have had call to attend Wickford on a couple of occasions. On my last visit I had trouble locating the property as this is a busy main road better outside signage would improve things. On this visit the car park barrier was up forcing me to park behind another car overlapping the pavement. If you are expecting clients please ensure you open the car park! In addition have you ever considered installing dog poo bins at your premises?

Had to take my dog here for an emergency appointment and they could not be more helpful. Even the staff at reception checked in with me when I came out and made sure my pup was okay. Lovely staff, quick service and able to get the medicine all in one visit. Would recommend.

We were given an appointment for 5.15pm and struggled to find them as they had not left there signs on. So arrived 20 minutes late. The lady vet then said our appointment was 5pm which was not what we were told on the phone. She had no compassion to fit us in and was not the least bothered and told us to make another appointment. The puppy had been in the car for 45 minutes and the puppy is now over the time scale for her vaccine. We spent five minutes standing in the rain trying to persuade her when she most probably could have done the vaccine. Definitely would recommend you think seriously choosing another vets.

Family vet for the past 17 years, although management has changed - the core remains the same. Kevin leads a team of passionate, caring and highly capable staff. I recently had my cat put to sleep at home, Sami and the nurse were very attentive and caring - it was done in the nicest way possible considering. Kevin personally knows the history of my cats and keeps an educated eye on them at each checkup. They're just a great vet.
