Honestly, we have a 7 month old high energy breed puppy. We have seen 3 or 4 different vets at this place now, every single time we go in it’s like they never seen a hyper puppy before. Only one vet here has actually been helpful. Yes, he’s excited, he won’t settle after 2 minutes because you’re a new person and everything is exciting for him. He’s a teenage puppy. Every time we go in there with an issue, they never listen to what I’m trying to tell them, and instead start judging a 7 MONTH OLD PUPPY. Took him in to get his teeth checked today, he was wiggly, excited. Vet wouldn’t do it because he wouldn’t stop fidgeting after only meeting her less than one minute ago - so instead I had to open his mouth for her. Another time we’ve had a vet in there GUESS his weight for medication because dragging him on the scales and holding him down didn’t work. Really? It’s almost like he’s trained to walk himself onto it and asked to sit rather than being dragged. To say I’m sick of being judged every single time we go in there for what is normal puppy behaviors is an understatement. He’s being trained, he has a professional trainer. But please remind your staff that puppies are still puppies. Yes, he’s excited - I’m honestly just baffled at the ignorance every time we bring him in. He’s not biting you, or jumping at your face, he’s excited. He’s wiggling and fidgeting… would not recommend. Do you genuinely never meet high energy breed puppies in there? Amount of times we’ve paid £65 for a consultation but they’ve not even listened or checked the issue and instead just judged him for being hyper is ridiculous. Don’t waste your time. Will be finding somewhere else actually helpful.

We recently moved and so needed to find a new vet for our two little dogs, both 14 years old. We decided to try Vets4pets at maldon. Poppy developed what we thought was an abscess and so she went in for a dental procedure. Unfortunately it turned out to be a very aggressive tumour and the kindest thing to do was put her to sleep gently while she was still under the anaesthetic. Ellie the vet was so kind, she spent time with me discussing all options, and reassurance. She really was wonderful. We had an email advising us of grief counselling, I know this seems extreme but we loved Poppy with all our hearts. Separately we have recieved from vets4pets a hand written sympathy card which was very nice. I cannot thank all the team enough, Ellie thank you for understanding just how much that little dog meant to us xx.

visited last week with my puppy happy with the staff lovely guy on the front wow what a load of hair on him .saw rudy I think her name was all really nice and supportive really happy and will be back : )

We saw a vet today for our puppies secind vaccinations and she really took her time checking him over and giving us lots of general and breed specific advice on what to look out for, frequently seen issues for the breed to be on top of, dental and feeding advice. Honestly so grateful.

Came here for my kittens first checkups and injections perfectly fine, went for the second round a month later and while getting them injected I asked the nurse to clarify if one of my kittens will have issues with his balance due to his whiskers being very short almost as if they was cut I explained they where like this when I got him, he left and said he would get the Vet and ask them about it, upon entering the room the vet quite clearly said “why have you cut your cats whiskers”, this immediately made me very uncomfortable and angry I brushed it off in the moment but wanted to leave immediately, how dare she say that to me, on-top of the hidden fees for a cat castration they do not tell you about till later on in a secondary email. Both of these reasons are why I will never use them again. Still angry to this day about that situation.
