Best Vets around the Area. Especially, Cheryl was incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. She took the time to review a complex case carefully and gave clear, honest guidance without rushing to conclusions. Her calm and compassionate approach was very reassuring, and I’m extremely grateful for her help. Highly recommended. Thanks again for everything 🙂

Vet prescribed my daughter's 8 year old dog with very slight arthritis a monthly jab of what she described as an anti inflammatory. No blood tests or anything done beforehand and we were told there were no side effects. Within a short space of time dog was behaving very oddly - nervous, staying on his bed all day - with extreme thirst issues. At the second and third jab they denied it was anything to do with the drug. Thankfully my daughter eventually got the name of the drug (Librela) and we got a second opinion after three months of this. It's taken a year but he's finally behaving as he was with his arthritis treated with a low dose of Metacam. Don''t go near this place

Last week we had a huge scare and a cat who was very poorly. Our usual vet had no availability so they arranged for us to be seen in Loughton. It was the best thing that happened ❤️ The team at Loughton were ever so kind, compassionate, professional and effective! Our cat underwent emergency treatment and they saved his life! We felt very well cared for 🫶 THANK YOU!

Our local vet - been with them for over the past 6 years and will continue seeking their advice and assistance for our 2 cats. The vets and nurses have been professional, friendly and helpful while reception team has always been calm, attentive and efficient. Neat front desk, clean examination rooms and convenient location - Free parking and operational lift. —— Roger is our cat and he has a neurological issue since late 2024 that even with a referal to RVC (Royal Veterinary College) could not offer us any diagnosis nor any treatment plan. In light of his recent relapse episode, we come to appreciate more the work that Loughton vets and staffs do as well as the pressure they are under. Without the pet patient being able to tell them what’s wrong (and especially if you as an owner fail to notice what’s wrong), they can only rely on standard diagnostic tools to gain a better understanding; and like GPs, there is only so much that they can offer to do onsite. We received clear-cut options in our case and were thankful for the vets’ sympathy and support going ahead with our own action plan. It was a very stressful period for us and while feeling so worried and helpless at the same time, being greeted with consideration and compassion really helped us stay composed and positive. We are thankful for Jennifer, who has been a friendly face, genuine, kind and prompt with all reception tasks. We are grateful for Aaron and Cheryl, who are both invested in and very attentive to Roger throughout his healing journey. Our minds are at ease when seeing them and we have trust in their abilities and experiences. And last but not least, Georgina is caring and gentle with animals, she has so much love for Roger he was very content in her presence. —— People of Loughton can be difficult and demanding. We believe that unfortunately it is the underlying reason why the core team at this practice is so small and that at times, some vets end up acting relatively too by-the-book.

Belle had her spay done 10 days ago and everything went smoothly and no issues at all. The care received was 100% reception staff were lovely, and the vet nurse was thorough and reassuring whilst my anxiety was through the roof. Aftercare was brilliant and very reassuring to ensure all was healing as it should and advice given was fantastic in what to look out for and how to help with recovery. This is the second time i have had to leave Belle in the capable hands of Loughton vets4pets and i can’t fault a thing at all. Belle’s wound is so neat and healed within 5 days thanks to Cheryl’s expertise and steady hand i’m sure! Big thank you for looking after my Belle again to a high standard and being somewhere we feel happy to visit.

I strongly advise caution before using this practice. On 1st September 2025, I paid £385 at Vets4Pets Loughton for blood tests for my 14-year-old cat. The results came back showing life-threatening anaemia — results so extreme that another independent vet later told me it would be impossible for my cat to even be standing. Even the attending vet at Vets4Pets admitted in writing that the results “could be due to a machine error.” Out of fear for my cat’s life, I immediately sought a second opinion at a different vet. They sent the same tests to NationWide Laboratories, reviewed by an RCVS Internal Medicine Specialist. The new results showed Felix’s blood values were essentially normal — proving Vets4Pets’ results were completely wrong. When I complained, the practice refused to refund me, hiding behind “machine error” as an excuse. In my view, if you charge £385 for diagnostic services, you are responsible for ensuring the results are accurate and fit for purpose. I now have evidence from an external lab (RCVS specialist reviewed) proving their results were wrong, but Vets4Pets still refuse to put this right. ⚠️ I cannot recommend this practice. If you care about your pet’s health and your peace of mind, please think very carefully before trusting them with diagnostics.

As pet owners all you ever want is to find a Vet practice that you can trust and I would recommend Loughton Vets4Pets to everyone. Our dog had to have a dental extraction which we were extremely anxious about. The entire team at the practice were so lovely and caring which we truly felt and knew Lluwi was in great hands. Thank you so much to our Vet Magdalena, head nurse Amy and the rest of the team & also huge shout out to Jennifer and Laurel for your amazing support! Thank you for the hard work that you all do.

Can’t thank or recommend everyone at Vets4Pets Loughton, enough. In particularly, Cheryl and Magdalena for taking great care of our Kylie. Their care, compassion and empathy, is greatly appreciated. Exactly what you need, in times of distress.
