I recently used the Home Vet Care service to say goodbye to my much loved 10 year old doodle, and I honestly couldn’t have wished for anyone kinder to help us through such a heartbreaking end of life. Kate and Laura were incredibly professional, but more importantly, they were so gentle, empathetic and understanding. They took their lead from me and from my dog, never rushing us and constantly reassuring me that the time was right. They allowed her to say goodbye peacefully in her favourite place, underneath the rosebush where she loved to sit. Somehow, knowing that her final moments were at home, in a place she loved and felt safe, brought me a huge amount of comfort. Of course we were overcome at her loss and it was incredibly sad to say goodbye, but Kate and Laura gave me the reassurance we needed to know that I had made the right decision, at the right time, for her. I will always be grateful for the kindness and compassion they showed us. I would wholeheartedly recommend Home Vet Care to anyone facing this incredibly difficult decision.

I wish there was a way to give more stars. I have an irritatingly intelligent chihuahua dachshund cross. She hates all things to do with her health, in truth she's a McDonald's dog! Kate and Laura have visited twice now, the first time Dinky didn't even notice being given her vaccinations, today her health check was over and done swiftly and with no stress!!! Both Laura and Kate are encouraging, helpful, supportive and so very, very kind to both animal and human. This is the only vet care service we will be using from now on. Thank you both so very much for restoring the faith in quality, value for money vet care.

Losing our beloved cat was one of the hardest decisions we’ve ever had to make, but the compassion and kindness shown by the Home Vet Care team made such a painful experience a little easier to bear. They treated our cat and our family with such gentleness, patience and respect, never rushing us and allowing us the time to say goodbye peacefully at home. As our beloved Daisy’s health was deteriorating, I consulted The Home Vet Care Services about euthanasia as I wanted to be ready for when the time was right. Our lovely Daisy managed a few more months but then at nearly 16, she got worse and we could see life was so hard for her. After a few emails and making a quick plan for a couple of days later, Laura and Kate arrived at my home to help Daisy cross over the rainbow. Kate and Laura were like two angels arriving. Their grace, compassion, care and approach immediately proved that I had made the BEST decision for her end of life treatment at home, in the garden with the sun shining. I was so relieved. It was perfect. Thank you so much to The Home Vet Care Services team. So much more authentic compassion than I have received at larger vets. I 100% recommend them.

Kate and Laura are incredible. They have been so kind and caring to my babies and I. Through treatment till the end there is no bad word I can say. They are considerate, kind, helpful, reassuring and go out of their way to help in any way they can. The rare vets who are there for the fluffy children and not for profit.
