Further update: 05/11/2025 Minkey saw vet Steph today- and she was absolutely wonderful with her, and very reassuring to us. She listened, and answered all our questions about Minkey's treatment options. The reception ladies, and all the people at Riverside are really lovely. Thank you! Update 15/08/2025 : We took our cat, Minkey, to see vet Neil today. He is always wonderful with her and this really helps calm her. He's a great vet, who always listens. Lovely nurses and reception people, too. I definitely recommend Riverside Vets. ---- We went today with another of our cats, Heathcliff. We saw Callum - who is an absolutely wonderful vet! I cannot recommend his practice highly enough. Lovely staff. Callum listened to us, and was so caring and gentle with our Heathcliff. Lovely staff. Offered a same day appointment. Our cat got the care and treatment she needed. Everything was well explained. Vet Neil was wonderful with Minkey.

Riverside vets Canvey are very professional and always have your pets well being at heart. They listen, explain things and ensure you are aware of the choices of treatment available. Staff are polite and welcoming and I always recommend their services to friends and family.

On seeing the vet, almost straight away showed concern for gunner, there was a hole at each end of his front leg pad, grass seed, he took gunner in an another room and was back within 5 minutes, the vet had taken out from inside his foot a grass seed stem between 12mm-17mm in length It was unreal, the vet said gunner should be back to normal within 2 days We’ll only the following day gunner was walking on all 4 legs bouncing back like a Jack Russell would, I know gunner can’t say thank you - but I can THANK YOU

After calling on a Saturday for an emergency appointment my Dog was seen within 15 minutes. We were greeted by Callum who was totally amazing. He was gentle, caring and really made a fuss of my Dog. After a full examination and a detailed explanation of her condition I left Riverside happy and more importantly left with a comfortable and happier dog. I cannot recommend Riverside enough. Thank you so much.

We took my mum's cat, who is very timid & difficult to handle, even by my mum, who's in her 80s despite her cat being tiny. She lashes out when being picked up! She was totally different with the vet, of course, lol. He checked her over completely, from head to toe, & she was totally compliant. Not a reaction at all! Thank you. We have used Riverside for all our families' cats & they are brilliant. Would not go anywhere else. The reception staff are always friendly & helpful too.

Our Sphynx came in to be speyed today and the whole experience was amazing. Thank you to all of the team for looking after Seagull and making it a completely stress free time. Special thanks to our amazing vet who even changed the surgery slightly so our hairless cat didn’t have a visible scar on her side! We won’t ever use a different vets🤍
