It has been four years since my cat died under the care of Animal Ark. I took him in after a car accident during covid, and the Spanish or Greek vet who took him seemed utterly sincere and serious. And called me the next day to say Begemot was recovering well and had been sitting up and accepting strokes. Suddenly at 7am I received a call from a strange English man to tell me my cat had suddenly died, and at the time it had traumatized me but ever since I have been more disturbed by the memory of the call. It seemed like he was waiting for something and his voice was weird. When I went in to collect him a couple of hours later when they opened, that same vet greeted me and handed me my dead cat and stayed in there watching me in the room with this weird smile that I thought at the time was just vet immunity to death but ever since has haunted me, as it was acutally pretty strange when handing me my dead cat whilst I streamed with tears. He seemed to be feeding off my distress. He just stood there wish this smile whilst tears streamed down my face as I cradled my dead cat. Why had the nurses and Mediterranean vet the previous day told me my cat was recovering well? And then suddenly when the medditeranean vet went off duty and this blonde English guy took over my cat suddenly died? I payed them almost £2000 and yet I have had this strange feeling about that particular vet, as if he had killed him and had some peculiar interest in observing my distress and mourning. This feeling comes back repeatedly to haunt me. And I believe it was THAT vet, not anyone else in the clinic. But I still feel he might have purposefully have killed my cat. Because of his strange behaviour and that very creepy smile as he observed me flooded with tears over my cat. My current boyfriend is a vet, and when I showed him the photos he too remains perplexed as to why my cat would have died three days after the car accident. As the injury was only to the eye and jaw. I wonder if anyone else had similar experiences in 2021?

Everyone at Animal Ark, from the receptionist to the vet, was extremely friendly and welcoming (it was our first visit). Everything was done very professionally and we felt completely confident that our cat was being treated in the best possible way. We were advised on the best treatment with all options explained clearly to us and at no point did we feel that we were being pushed into paying for anything that our cat didn't really need. And the cost was very reasonable. I would recommend Animal Ark without hesitation or reservation.

Having brought our frenchie puppy for his first jabs, we had initially missed our appointment but we’re still accommodated shortly after. From reception to the vet team everyone was exceptionally kind and caring. The vets went through carefully the schedules and recommended plans for us. His procedures were quick and painless and a lot of love was given to him after his multiple vaccines. Thank you for making it super easy! X
