When Hattie needed a knee operation our vet recommended the specialist Darren Barnes. From the moment we walked in we found everyone so friendly and helpful and Darren was patient and clear in explaining exactly what was needed. We were regularly updated during Hattie's short stay and we felt fully confident she was being cared for by people with amazing skills and kindness. After surgery her recovery was so swift it seemed miraculous and she is now running and playing just as before. SVS is truly impressive in every way. Thank you all so much for everything.

We can’t thank the amazing team enough for the care, compassion, and expertise they showed our much-loved Molly during one of the most difficult times we’ve faced as pet owners. Not only did they provide exemplary medical care, but they treated Molly as if she were their own, showing such thoughtful attention and tenderness every step of the way. What truly stood out was their consistent communication and the time they took to keep us informed and reassured, even when it was clear they were extremely busy. It never once felt rushed – just genuine and heartfelt. While the whole team was outstanding, we want to extend special thanks to Rachel and Darren, whose kindness, compassion, and professionalism were simply exceptional. Their care made all the difference, and we’ll never forget the way they supported both Molly and us.

Amazing! Great Vet Darren really looked after my dog with a dislocated hip. Was clear on everything he was going to do and I felt my dog was in very good hands. Went above and beyond to reassure us. He really understood how much our 15yr old dog means to us. Our insurance claim was processed very quickly, Thank You!

We are so grateful for the wonderful efforts of everyone in the team. They really made not only us, but more importantly our precious pooch, feel so comfortable. I don’t think 5 stars is enough for this incredible place. My 7 month old German shepherd broke all of her metatarsals in a freak accident and her normal vet could not perform the surgery due to the complicated nature of the surgery. I was referred to Stansted veterinary specialists and from the moment we arrived we were greeted with warm kind people who were incredibly affectionate and attentive to our dog we felt completely comfortable leaving our dog and today she had her surgery performed by Francisco. Francisco and the team have been amazing updating me multiple times a day they genuinely care about the animals and honestly I can’t thank them and recommend them enough ! Thank you Francisco and team ❤️
